Free Resources

There is lots of genealogy data to glean from any of the websites listed below. For example, when you visit Georgia Pioneers, make use of the links to county records on the left-hand side of the page. Each county lists all of the records and names of testators of wills and estates.  This is a fast method of learning whether or not your ancestors were there.  In other words, the voluminous names contained in the county records (of Georgia Pioneers) assists the genealogist in knowing where to search next.

Thus, the counties link (on each website) offers a great deal of free information and it is a good idea to become a frequent visitor to sites (below) where information is continuously added.  This sort of free information is valuable to researchers who spend their lives in pursuit of any past record which will provide the next clue.
