Two Excellent Georgia Resources

The Georgia State Archives remains open only two days per week and presents a problem to many genealogists.  However, researchers have two great libraries in which to do genealogical research. One is the Washington Memorial Library in Macon, Georgia,Genealogical and Historical Room. To view a list of their Collection.

And the other is the Cobb County Public Library in Marietta, Georgia Room. A vast collection of genealogy books from every State, microfilm of census and county records, old newspapers, etc. are available to the researcher. Another excellent feature is the inter-library-loan privilege. The collection.

So, if you caught without any where to go, the libraries gives genealogy a heads-up.
